Who are Birmingham’s most inspirational women?

We are inviting nominations for a new book featuring Birmingham women, marking the #Vote100 centenary. The book, commissioned by Birmingham City Council, will feature women past and present who have shaped the city, and will launch at October’s Birmingham Literature Festival.

This is a great opportunity for us to celebrate our female literary heroes. Do you know of someone doing great things for the literary life of the city? Which Birmingham women are helping bring the arts and literature to a wider audience? Who, in your opinion, has had the greatest impact over the years?
