Saturday 7 November 2015, 9.30am – 4pm, Bramall Music Building, University of Birmingham

The annual conference for writers returns to Birmingham at the beginning of November, offering inspirational speakers from the publishing industry as well as workshops, tips and networking opportunities.

Previous events have drawn a wide audience from across the West Midlands and further across the England and Wales.

The conference takes place over one day and offers writers the pick of twelve sessions with industry professionals.

Keynote speakers this year are Jo Bell, poet and writing activist, and literary agent and publishing doyenne Carole Blake.

Delegates also get to choose from 12 breakout sessions, covering contracts, writing for young people, finances for writers, writing for broadcast and how to get an agent.
