ONLINE Writer Training Session: Menopause, Writing and Me (April 2023)
It seems that right now everyone, from the NHS to employers to celebrities, is talking about menopause.
However, for women going through the menopause, it can be an overwhelming experience, often coinciding with many other upheavals in life, whether emotional or physical.
Led by a writer who is herself currently going through the ‘change’, this workshop will encompass discussions and writing exercises that will explore how you can, through the process of creative writing:
– navigate the emotions of menopause
– find your own voice in the midst of the noise
– reclaim and tell your story in your words
– build your self-confidence
– know your words and stories matter
Please note that this workshop is for women only.
